8.00 - 10.00am breakfast will be served in the Paris Restaurant Join us in the Singer Room at 11.00am for our Easter QuizAfternoon tea and coffee will be served in the Sun Lounge at 4.00pm, when the winner of the quiz will be announced Evening meal is served between 6.30 - 8.30pm in the Paris Restaurant Live entertainment will commence at 8.30pm with an Easter Bonnet Parade - best hat wins a prize

This will be the eighth JAZZ AT THE PALACE residential weekend organised by GJAZZ PROMOTIONS.

The cost of £200.00 per person includes fifteen hours of top class Jazz provided by five bands, three nights bed,

breakfast and evening meals and use of the hotels heated swimming pool, health suite and gymnasium, The following bands will be appearing: - Friday 30 March, 8 to 11p.m. – ROGER MARKS’ CORNISH ARMADA.

A band from the Armada marque features four Cornish based and two Devon based (close to the boarder)

musicians playing an open ensemble style of New Orleans and Traditional Jazz. Saturday 31 March, 1 to 4 p.m. – JEREMY HUGGETT’S JAZZ ME BLUE.This band was recently formed by Jeremy Huggett to play an exciting mixture of Blues and Traditional Jazz. Saturday 31 March, 8 to 11 p.m. – KEITH LITTLE BAND.

Led by pianist Keith Little, this excellent swinging six- piece band manage to create wonderful sounds

reminiscent of the big bands of yore. Sunday 1 April – 1 to 4 p.m. – CRAIG MILVERTON QUARTET.The quartet will be performing their Tribute to Oscar Peterson concert.

All fans of the late great Oscar Peterson will be more than pleased that his music is still

available, live, from England’s world class Craig Milverton Quartet.

Sunday 1 April – 8 to 11 p.m. – SHADES OF ARMSTRONG.

As the bands name suggests. they perform Jazz associated with the legendry Louis Armstrong.

It is hoped that this varied programme of top class Jazz will attract the usual sell-out.

On arrival you will be warmly greeted by your hosts and offered tea and coffee with a selection of biscuits to refresh you after your journey. There’s plenty of time to settle in and relax before joining us in the bar for sherry at 6.00pm. We welcome you into the Restaurant at 6.30pm for your evening meal. The nights entertainment begins at 8.30pm with bingo and a live act to follow.

Tuesday

To give you the best possible start a full English breakfast awaits you between7.30 - 9.30am. After that the day is free to explore the surrounding area at your leisure. Maybe take a dip in our indoor pool or relax in the Sauna.Tea and Coffee is served in the lounge at 4.00pm At 6.30pm the evening meal is served in the Restaurant followed by another fabulous night of bingo and entertainment.

Wednesday

A full English breakfast awaits you in the Restaurant between 7.30 - 9.30am then enjoy the day as you wish. Maybe take a stroll into town or along the beach.The evening meal is served between 6.30pm - 8.30pm in the Paris Restaurant. The nights entertainment begins at 8.30pm with bingo and is followed by our cabaret.

Thursday

Your breakfast awaits you in the Restaurant from 7.30am After that the day is free to explore the local area. Afternoon tea and biscuits are served in the sun lounge at 4.00pm. You will have the chance to test your knowledge in our ’Palace Quiz’. The evening meal is served between 6.30pm - 8.30pm in the Paris restaurant.Tonight is party night with optional fancy dress so put your best costumes on and dance the night away with our fabulous entertainment.

Friday

A full English breakfast awaits you at 7.30 - 9.30am. After which, we wish you a fond farewell and hope to see you again very soon.
